Mass Offerings
Holy Mass is celebrated daily at 9:30am in Corpus Christi Church, Lisdoonvarna, except for Wednesdays at 7pm. There is no 9:30am Mass the morning of a funeral. The Wednesday evening Mass is preceded by a Medjugorje-style holy hour of Adoration of Jesus in the most Blessed Sacrament, beginning at 6pm with Our Lady’s Holy Rosary, and ending just before Mass with traditional benediction and individual blessings with the Blessed Sacrament. This is a lovely quiet oasis of prayer at mid-week.

Thank you for last week’s collection: €1225.
Mile buiochas/sincere thanks: on behalf of Mary Howley, coordinator of the church cleaning ministry, to all involved in our communal “deep clean” of Corpus Christi church last Friday, after the scaffolding came down. It was a wonderful experience of human brotherhood, sisterhood and solidarity with our African and Ukrainian friends.
Thank you also to Rita Gavin and Betty Nagle who helped with the Matt Talbot healing Mass, and to Mary-Anne Howley for her generous gift of lilies on St. Anthony’s feast day last Tuesday.
St. Patrick’s Breastplate for protection against evil: Christ be near at either hand, Christ behind before me stand, Christ with me where I go, Christ around, above, below. Christ be in my heart and mind, Christ within my soul enshrined, Christ control my wayward heart, Christ abide and ne’re depart.
