THANK YOU FOR LAST WEEK’S COLLECTION: €1104
CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful young parishioner Emma Healy who will represent Lisdoonvarna in the Rose of Clare Festival from Saturday August 2nd to Friday August 8th. Emma will be interviewed on stage by Marty Morrisey on Tuesday 5th at 8.30pm in Cooraclare hall.
LIGHT THE FIRE EVENT on the Hill of Slane is an event of faith-renewal featuring Dana, Archbishop Eamon Martin, and Deacon John Taafe, who exercised his wonderful healing ministry in our parish, along with Deacon Pat Butterly. Together they run the Apostles of Love ministry, apostlesoflove.ie. The event starts at noon on Sunday, August 3rd, and will feature a talk by Michael Murphy on Matt Talbot, who gives great hope to anyone suffering from addiction.
RELIC AND TALK ABOUT ST. BERNADETTE OF LOURDES: this Saturday, July 26th, 4pm, Lisdoonvarna Church. Sponsored by Aid to the Church in Need. This lovely evening of reflection will be conducted by Morgan, a long-term devotee of Lourdes, and will include a gift for everyone and an individual blessing with St. Bernadette’s relic, followed by Mass at 7pm. Please spread the word and bring a friend.
MARY’S MEALS coffee morning after 11am Mass in Lisdoonvarna this Sunday 27th. Meeting on Monday 28th at 7pm in the community room. New members welcome.
MASS OFFERINGS: thank you so very much for your Mass offerings for your deceased loved-ones. For the purposes of recording, would you mind please writing clearly on the envelope the name of the person or persons for whom the Mass is offered, and the church in which it is offered? Thank you.
KILSHANNY PAROCHIAL HALL COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP: Friday August 1st at 7pm, and Saturday August 2nd at 11am. Please bring your own cleaning supplies and plenty of elbow-grease!

MATT TALBOT: On Friday evening, July 25, the relics of Venerable Matt Talbot will visit our Cathedral of St. Nicholas and Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Galway. The evening will begin with the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 6pm by Bishop Michael, followed by a talk about Matt’s life and times, how he dealt with addiction, what we can learn from him, and how he intercedes for us today and gives us hope.
